The building is special not only because of its elegant modernist exterior. Each of its 48 one- and two bedroom apartments is arranged over four levels and the flats interconnect in a complicated way. This unique scissor design allows all flats to have west-facing living rooms with sunset views, while all bedrooms overlook the quiet communal gardens. It also reduces the volume of the block without compromising the size of the apartments; five access corridors suffice to service all eight floors of the building.

This website provides information about the building, its layout, the architect Kenneth Frampton, Corringham's communal garden and the location of the block.
